Digsite

A game of Platinum Digsite in play, with a key underneath.

The Platinum Digsite is a minigame that allows you to get Platinum, created in 20/4/12. The goal of this game is to collect as much Platinum as you can without hitting a explosive tile.

This mini-game features a 5x5 grid, containing PT tiles, but also volatile materials that are simular to the mines in Minesweeper that will explode, thus ending your game. You need to reveal the contents of the grid, one tile at a time. Outside the Grid, there are indicators showing the contents of PT and explosives of each row/column.

Your score is multiplied by the Platinum you reveal, so a 1 does not add to your score. If you reveal all 2 or 3 platinum squares then you will "win" the grid, thus ending your current game. You can also have the option to exit your current game and move onto a new one, allowing you to keep the PT you have already collected.

Each row and column shows the total platinum (1, 2 or 3 per square) and the total explosives in that row or column. You need to solve the grid to reveal as much platinum as possible. Every platinum revealed multiplies your reward by that amount, so 1's don't give any extra prize. You can get up to between 54 and 128 Platinum with each game.

Notes:[]

  • If there are any rows/columns with NO explosives, select the tiles in those FIRST.
  • Keep an eye on the indictors, they can help you to see if any rows/columns are risky or not.
  • [1] Fleck has confirmed this minigame is based off Voltorb Flip, a minigame in Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver, thus making it one of the rare instances of trival reference in Mech Cursaders.
